Beeappy Farm breeds, raises and processes heritage breed poultry. The farm maintains a small breeding stock of chocolate, auburn, white holland, standard bronze, blues and lilacs for purchase as poults, breeding stock and dressed birds. A small number of double breasted whites are raised and dressed for the Thanksgiving market. Currently, birds must be picked up at the farm or a designated drop-off point.
Guineas, Cornish chickens and Rhode Island chickens, red and white, are available in the spring. A sex link cross for layers and fryers is available in the spring and by request. The farm is low tech with people feeding, collecting eggs, cleaning and processing. A lot of work goes into our birds but we like to be judged by what doesn't go into them-no steady diet of antibiotics and no injected sugar/salt or chemicals.
