CSA: East Henderson Farm

We are a located on the bluffs of the Minnesota River near scenic Henderson, MN, 45 minutes from downtown Mpls. We are offering 50 CSA shares this year and are also offering on site vegetable sales. We also offer Maple Syrup, Eggs, Whole Chickens, Grass fed beef, and wild edibles when available. CSA members get first notice of other farm goods for sale. We are Certified Organic with MOSA

The share is 18 weeks of various in-season vegetables and herbs. Our on-farm pickup is farmers market style, allowing you to pick out your produce according to the weekly availability. We offer U-pick for certain crops, and inform you of opportunities to pick wild edibles on our farm when available.

Our farm has been in Josh's family for 4 generations, and we are raising the 5th generation. We have a passion for building restoration and history, and all of our farm buildings have been moved in or re-built from salvaged lumber. Our farm is 40 acres, including 20 acres of wooded ravines and building site, 10 acres of pasture, and 10 acres of field.

We have a deep appreciation for the natural world and ecology, this is why we have chosen to pursue organic certification, a system that produces food in harmony with nature. The soil is alive, and it is our responsibility to maintain that life, ultimately helping us grow nutritious and healthy crops.
