Eastie Farm's Community Supported Agriculture share is a subscription to weekly fresh, local, healthy produce that supports your health, farmers' wealth, and the Massachusetts commonwealth.
Supporting our CSA means voting with your dollar. Your subscription supports:
-local farmers who struggle to compete with industrial agriculture
-your health, with fresh produce that provides fiber, micronutrients, and variety into your diet
-a non-profit organization that fights to protect an environmental justice community
-East Boston residents who lack access to nutritious food
Share sizes will range between 10-20lbs. We typically include 5-8 different produce items. Below is what a typical CSA bag includes (note: produce will vary seasonally)
1-2 varieties of fruit, 1-2 root vegetables, 1-2 varieties of leafy greens, mushrooms, eggs, and other value-added items such as honey or jam.
Please email csa@eastiefarm.com to inquire about monthly payment plans, or paying via SNAP, cash, or check.
Tiered Pricing
At Eastie Farm, we recognize the cost barrier of a CSA for some community members in need of fresh produce. To further our food equity mission, we?ve developed a tiered pricing model. For more details on our pricing, please visit our website to make an informed decision on which price is right for you!
