As members, you support small scale farmers in our region by paying up front for 6-8 weeks of seasonal ultra-fresh organically grown vegetables. Why sign-up? -share in the bounty of our farms -get to know your farmers through our weekly newsletters -celebrate eating with the seasons -expand your culinary horizons -eat incredibly tasty food thats good for you and our planet We also provide a swap box so that there is some choice in your weekly boxes - take an item, leave an item! If away on vacation, we encourage members to get friends or relatives to pick up their weekly box. It's a fun way to share your farm experience with others. By working cooperatively as farmers, this model allows us to focus on what we do best - grow amazing food for our community. Purchasing directly from farmers ensures fair prices for both farmers and eaters. Our Local Food Boxes supply organically grown produce by farmers focused on building soil fertility using cover crops, compost, and best management practices. There are no pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers or genetically modified seeds used on our farms.
