The Cherry Valley Dairy has been an architectural and agricultural feature of Duvall for more than 80 years. Today, the refurbished dairy and its new creamery are an inspiring example of how artisanal practices and environmental stewardship can come together to nourish the community and respect the land.
In 2005, the dairy was purchased by eco- preneur Gretchen Garth, who envisioned a smaller operation with a focus on keeping a healthy, meadow-grazing herd, crafting traditional, natural dairy products, and employing innovative, environmentally-friendly principles to manage the historic farmstead.
Our cheeses and butters are now available at Seattle's Pike Place Market, 21 Acres in Woodinville, the Duvall Farmers Market, Trellis at Kirkland's Heathman Hotel, online at Local Orbit and at thoughtfully-selected independent grocery stores in the Puget Sound area.

Cherry Valley Dairy is committed to natural, sustainable dairy practices. The creamery is onsite, and our herd of pasture-fed Jersey cows produces the milk for our dairy reserve cheese, naturally-cultured butter, whey ricotta, buttermilk and fromage blanc. We provide our farmstead dairy products to local chefs, restaurants, and farmers' market consumers. A farmstead dairy CSA will be available soon!
