Egg|Plant Urban Farm Supply is a retail storefront that sells seeds, plants, tools and supplies for people who want to grow their own food in an urban or suburban setting. We sell canning and preserving supplies including jars and crocks, as well as cheesemaking supplies, inoculated mushroom logs and sprouting kits. In the spring and summer we sell day-old baby chicks and stock chicken feed and chicken-keeping supplies year-round. We hold regular classes and workshops on do-it-yourself homesteading topics such as Backyard Chickens, Fermentation, Seed-Starting, Cheese-making, How to brew Kombucha and Canning.
