Commitment to quality, community and education has been the hallmark of this restaurant since it¢ï¿½??s opening in 2004. Owners Paul & Amanda Danielson and Myles Anton with their team of culinary and service professionals strive to bring every guest something more than just eating a meal.
The commitment to all things local brings to the menu offerings from over forty farmers, wineries and artisans in the Grand Traverse area. Chef Myles¢ï¿½?? menus change every lunch and dinner to bring the freshest and best ingredients of the season to the table. Every day is a new culinary adventure.
Trattoria Stella is the cornerstone business in the largest redevelopment project in the country to date. This 380,000 square foot Italianette styled building, formerly a state asylum, was slated for demolition until the citizens of Traverse City stood up to save it. As a result, businesses, offices and residences breathe new life into one of the classic buildings of the Midwest. The restaurant occupies a portion of the garden level with exposed brick, open rafters and classic arches bringing to mind the bistros and trattorias of old Europe.
