Elk Ravine Farm, located in Amenia in Dutchess County New York is family owned and operated by Jim & Janis Archer. Situated on 90 pristine scenic acres in the beautiful Smithfield Valley, Elk Ravine Farm is proud to produce the finest meats possible. Raised on clean, healthy pasture, all animals have access to sunshine, fresh air, acres of green green grass, Certified Organic Feed (locally produced by Lightning Tree Farm in Millbrook, NY), and pure water direct from our own underground aquifer. We take tremendous pride in the cleanliness of our farm and welcome customers to come see how the animals are raised and why Elk Ravine is not the conventional 'local farm'. We believe the health, well being and humane treatment of our animals is more important than anything else. We raise our animals in small batches, concentrating on quality for the best natural taste possible. We never use antibiotics, artificial hormones, pesticides or chemicals on our livestock or our farm. We sell Heritage Breed Turkeys, Chicken, Pork, Beef and eggs.
