ElkFlat Farm grass-fed beef are reared here on our family farm located in Caldwell, ID. We look at it simply, to raise good food for people who want to know what they are feeding their family and themselves. To provide quality beef for friends and neighbors in the Treasure Valley is our goal. We currently sell whole and half shares of grass-fed beef as well as farm-raised, frozen, whole Cornish-cross fryer chickens.
ElkFlat Farm raises Beefmaster and Simmental-Angus cross cattle, selected for flavor, tenderness and grass utilization. Our cattle feed on grass and alfalfa fields their entire lives. We also use low stress handling techniques as well as no hormones or antibiotics.
We believe in our motto "From our farm, to your table, it's that simple". If you would like to come visit our farm, please do! Late spring is the best, when the calves are being born and they are a joy to behold!

Schedule and Location:
We produce hormone-free, naturally raised grass-fed beef here on our farm and have it delivered to a local custom butcher. You pick it up from the butcher. Our harvest period is traditionally in Fall-Winter, though we occasionally have some shares available in Spring each year.

Directions:
Located on the south side of Lake Lowell, bordering the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge. Coming from Boise - take Highway 55 across the Lower Dam. From Nampa, take Highway 45 south to Lake Shore Drive. Either way, enjoy a lovely drive around the lake and come visit our family farm.
