Elm Street Gardens' Community Supported Agriculture, CSA, provides 16 weeks of late spring, summer and early fall fruits and vegetables to Sparta, Milledgeville, and Greensboro, GA. Pick up will be on Tuesdays from 4:00PM-6:00PM in Milledgeville and Greensboro or at the gardens on Wednesdays from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
The CSA program is 16 weeks of 8 different summer vegetables and fruits that will feed an omnivorous family of 4 or a few hungry herbivores.
Each share will include $30 of vegetables/fruits each week, typically 8 different items.
Vegetables and fruits from June to September may include but are not limited to: Strawberries, potatoes, onions, turnips, radish, beets, carrots, lettuce, arugula, kale, chard, fennel, leeks, garlic, tomatoes, basil, herbs, eggplant, sweet peppers, hot peppers, cucumbers, squash, beans, okra, melon, winter squash, figs and flowers.
