*Update
As of May 25, 2024 our farm was forced to permanently close due to being hit head on with a tornado. Unfortunately, we lost our house and all barns, fences and some livestock. It is highly unlikely that we will ever be able to recover or rebuild our farm as the extent of loss was too extreme. We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the years and our local community that pulled together to help us in our hour of need.

Todd and Lisa Smith have been running their farm since 2011, focusing on practices that promote regenerative farming and a sustainable, healthy ecosystem. They sell various products, including pasture-raised beef, heritage breed pork and chicken, eggs, honey, and more, all at reasonable market prices. Both Todd and Lisa have a deep passion for farming and prioritize caring for their livestock in the most natural way possible.

Todd, a third-generation farmer who grew up on his parents' farm in Denton, has gained expertise in various farming areas, including three years of irrigated farming in Colorado. On the other hand, Lisa, who hails from a small village in Derbyshire, England, has been farming since relocating to Texas in 2010. Additionally, she is an experienced beekeeper with 17 bee hives in her apiary.

Their farming approach places a strong emphasis on sustainability. All the animals on their farm are raised on grass and hay and finished with a mixture of oats, wheat, and milo. These grains are either grown on the farm or sourced from neighboring farms that share similar practices. Only necessary fertilizers are used on their crops, and they strictly avoid using chemicals like Roundup. Furthermore, they exclusively plant seeds from their own crops, ensuring that no genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are involved.

The Smiths are currently expanding their farm to include a greenhouse with a hydroponics system. While this is a new area of farming for them, they are excited to delve into it and anticipate it being a work in progress over the next couple of years.
