Fair Havens is about animals and their fiber. The animals are shetland sheep, lovely little things with wonderful soft wool that kept the wool industry of the Shetland Island going. Our other animals are angora goats, a grumpy Llama with lovely thick fur and a a Suri alpaca. A group of greedy hens keep them company and give us lovely natural fresh eggs. They also clear up bugs and worms and help with our all natural worming process. All animals are pasture fed in summer and fed locally produced hay in winter.
