Family Harvest

The Family Harvest Mercantile, in downtown Kirkwood, is owned and operated by Yellow Wood Farms, LLC. Our goal is to provide access to local and sustainable products in a co-op style environment. We have a limited but growing inventory. Family Harvest carries only free range/pastured animal products with absolutely no hormones or anti-biotics. We also carry a growing selection of products from like minded producers such as: Honey, sorghum, popcorn, black beans, rice etc... Yellow Wood farms operates a commercial kitchen near our Hermann, MO farm were we make baked, canned and frozen foods. We are proud to say that 100% of our inventory comes from local sources and that we have relationships with each producer allowing us all to know exactly where our food is coming from. At Yellow Wood Farms we focus primarily on sustainably grown fruits and vegetables, while also sourcing and acquiring products from other socially and environmentally responsible partners.
