Backyard Farming Development: Our purpose is to develop simple, inexpensive methods for serious food production on small plots of land, from small to very large backyards.
We research water collection and conservation, development of organic compost in situ, productivity in different containers and beds, heritage seeds and unusual food plants. We use several preservation and storage methods, all with the goal of making the growing and preserving of healthy foods possible for home gardeners.
We present talks on the biological development of genetically engineered organisms and the health and ecological problems associated with GMOs. We also give talks on Plant Based Diets and Sustainable Agriculture for 2050.
