Farmhouse Nashville was born out of necessity.

As a mother of four young children, I wanted to feed my family nourishing food—food that was local, nutrient-dense, responsibly grown, and affordable. I was discouraged by the rising cost of organic food and determined not to rely on food produced in factory farms, heavily treated with chemicals, or shipped thousands of miles before reaching our table.

What began as a search for better food for my own family grew into a mission to help other families access the same. More than 16 seasons ago, we launched Farmhouse Nashville and began partnering with local farmers to connect our community with fresh, seasonal food grown close to home.

Today, Farmhouse Nashville is more than a traditional CSA. We work with a network of trusted local farmers and producers throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond who share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and responsible growing practices. Through our customizable Farm Share program, members can choose from a wide variety of seasonal produce, pasture-raised eggs, local meats, raw honey, baked goods, jams, and other locally crafted products.

Our goal is simple: provide families with access to the freshest, most nutrient-dense food possible while supporting local agriculture and strengthening our regional food system.

We believe that healthy soil produces healthy plants, healthy animals, and ultimately healthier people. While we value organic growing methods, we also recognize that many small farmers use responsible and sustainable practices that go beyond organic certification. We prioritize transparency and work closely with our growers so our members can make informed decisions about the food they bring home to their families.
