CSA: Fibonacci Farm

This year we are doing a 16 week Vegetable CSA as well as a 12 week Flower Bouquet CSA.

Our CSA is a wonderful way to build a direct relationship between the customer (YOU!) and the farmers who grow their produce (US!). Together we will form a sense of community that is rooted in our promise to share our bounty with you, and your promise to support us in what we do. We are very excited to build relationships with each of you. To make things easy, we will be offering pickup locations in Bend and Redmond where you can come pick up your CSA, get to know us, and learn about how the season is progressing at the farm.

One of the coolest things about joining our CSA is that you will be able to fully experience the progression of the season and always know what is in season. This year we are growing about 60 varieties of different vegetables, many of which will be available at different times of the season. What this means is that at the beginning of the season, when pickings are slim, a share might not be as large and bountiful as it will be further into the season once everything is ripe for the picking. We all know that the best vegetables are vegetables that are in season.

Growing in Central Oregon presents its challenges, but we have designed a crop plan so that as a CSA member, each week you will be getting a box of 6 to 12 different vegetables. You can expect a steady supply of salad mix, braising/smoothie greens, root vegetables, and head lettuces each week and new items as they become available. Below you will find a full list of the vegetables that we are growing. We also will be growing a variety of herbs to add to the boxes each week as they are available. Our goal to provide an average of $30 worth of vegetables to you per week for 15 weeks and as a thank you for support, we are giving an extra week for a total value of $480, and a total cost to you of $450.

For the Flower CSA, we will be providing a flower bouquet each week for 12 weeks. Each week you will get a premium bouquet of fresh, colorful flowers. This makes a great gift for someone, or an easy way to bring some color and olfactory delights to your home or office. Our CSA bouquets will be larger than the those that we will be offering at market and we hope to provide an average of $20 worth of flowers each week at a cost to you of just above $13/week.
