Field Fresh Produce

We are Joe & Glenda Aughinbaugh; our acreage just outside Stewartsville was purchased in 1982. We have kept a variety of animals for homestead use, as well as developed a small beef herd. In 1986 we purchased a few western ewes and registered Dorsets. From that mix we have used Hampshire, Corredale, Romney, Polypay, and most recently, Blue Faced Leicester rams. Spinners fleece as well as feeder lambs are sold. The farm has always been operated sustainably, with no chemical inputs.

This acreage is part of a family farm, which includes the 80 acre homeplace at Amity, MO, purchased by Glenda's parents in 1948, and now in our care. That farm consists of hayfields, pasture and timberland.
