I am a hobby beekeeper in Findlay, Ohio. I have hives located in Findlay, Arlington, and Ada, Ohio. I currently run 12 hives. The honey I have extracted is from my Findlay and Ada Apiaries. This year's honey is lighter than last years. I run my honey through a 400 micron strainer to remove wax, bee parts, and other items from the hive that may have fallen into the extractor during harvest. I do not filter out the pollen from my honey. My honey has not been heated as part of the extraction process.
