Pastured eggs available--- the flock is in a portable pen which is moved to provide fresh clean grass daily. This year we are feeding the flock only organic, GMO-free laying feed. Eggs are only $6 a dozen. (Compare with other eggs that are pastured AND fed organic, GMO-free feed. Our flock has a few heritage breed hens but also many hybrid layers purchase from other farms who were done with them. We are hoping to increase our heritage breeds this year with the addition of Chanteclar chickens, a rare breed from Canada. We also raise Shetland sheep and Shetland crosses.
