FMA Farms specializes in heritage-breed poultry, farm-fresh eggs, and specialty rabbits. We raise chicken, duck, and turkey breeds that are recognized by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy as critically endangered, threatened, study, and watch to help maintain biological diversity in our laying flocks. Our birds are raised for their eggs: we sell shell eggs and hatching eggs. We also sell chicks, started birds, and adults. Please note that our birds are NOT raised to be eaten. Our birds are NOT raised to be meat birds. They are raised to help conserve the diversity of poultry species in the United States, as well as to add some color to Michigan microflocks and to be shown at poultry exhibitions by 4-H participants and local poultry fanciers.
FMA Farms also raises bantam show poultry. We specialize in bearded Silkies and Seramas. We love working with 4-H participants who are looking for easy-to-handle, good-natured birds -- both from our show flock and our laying flock.
Floral Meadows Rabbitry is the rabbit-rearing arm of FMA Farms. We raise Dwarf Hotots and Mini Lops, for pets and for show.
Poultry wise, we are members of the American Poultry Association, the American Bantam Association, the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, the American Silkie Bantam Club, The National Polish Breeders Club, and the Marans Club of America. Regarding rabbits, we are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, the Michigan State Rabbit Breeders Association, the Michigan Mini Lop Club, and the American Dwarf Hotot Rabbit Club. You can find us on Facebook as FMA Farms.
