Pine Mountain Buffalo Ranch

Located in Bend, OR. Pine Mountain Ranch is dedicated to growing all natural grass fed buffalo, yak, elk, beef, lamb, and pastured eggs. In 2009 we began our pastured poultry operation featuring slow grow Eurpoean heritage birds. We have chickens, pheasants, ducks, and 6 different breeds of heritage turkeys. All poultry processing is done on site in our licensed processing facility. We sell our products at the local farmers markets as well as 10 farmers markets in the Portland area. Our customers can buy directly off the ranch, located 6 miles east of Bend. We use a sustainable approach to managing our livestock with focus on minimally impacting the environment and re-introducing species that were indiginous to the area hundreds of years ago. We offer tours and in 2010 we hope to begin offering farm stays where visitors can work alongside us to gain full insight into what it takes to be a sustainable farmer in today's economy.
