Foundry Community Garden and Bee Farm

Foundry Community Garden and Bee Farm is an urban sustainable living demonstration site for its residents and area enthusiasts who want to join in. The beekeeper and her family moved from a 12 acre homestead called Viridian Ridge, a destination-based family farm where they helped people learn to live more lightly on the earth. Whether your interests are in beekeeping, tending chickens, growing food for your family, or learning to install rain water catchment and efficiency tools, solar power systems and other resiliency features, we can share simple solutions that work. At the Foundry site, we mainly focus on beekeeping and gardening with the residents of the apartment complex including 300+ apartments.
