We are a 3rd generation family operated farm, in our family since 1950. We live on 125 secluded acres, we feel we are stewards of this land and hope to leave it at least as good as we found it. Besides the cranberries we have many Pine barrens wildflowers and other plants, insects, animals, birds and other critters that make this place their home. The dam around our 2 bogs makes a very interesting walk of about a mile at any time of the year. One year we had a long-eared owl make a nest in a big pine tree across the bog, the babies were fluff-balls of white down sitting on the edge of their nest. We have some chickens and guinea hens running around (watch where you step) supposedly catching bugs and wood ticks. We have some herbs, and grow a small garden of vegetables for our own use.
We sell fresh, dry picked cranberries at the shed here in Oct. Usually the color is a beautiful dark red about the second week in Oct. Our berries keep longer in the refrigerator than wet picked berries, until spring in fact. We give out a page or recipes with each purchase. We sell or berries as a generous pound for one dollar. We will give tours if asked ahead of time.
