Brodie Farm is a VA century farm owned and operated by the Hilldrup family since 1918. Located in historic Spotsylvania, Virginia, Brodie Farm is surrounded by history, such as the Civil War battle between the 23rd USCT and the Confederate troops that occurred on Catharpin Rd. Originally, Brodie Farm operated as a one of the largest dairies in Spotsylvania until 1984 when the farm converted from dairy and beef to just Angus beef.
Currently, Brodie Farm has around 200 head of Angus cattle, up to 60 hives of honeybees, and 100 brown hens. The cattle are 100% Angus Beef processed by a USDA butcher and are born and raised at Brodie Farm with no growth hormones or antibiotics. All of the honey is extracted and bottled at the farm with no flavoring or coloring added.
