Our farm is now offering Free Range, Organic, humane raised & processed Heritage Breed chicken meat (whole or half chickens) all dressed and freezer packaged ready for your recipes. Whole birds weigh in at 3-8 pounds depending on breed. Chickens sell for $5 per pound Chickens are pre sold with a $5 per bird deposit We invite you to taste the difference a heritage bird makes Our chickens free range on our farm all day and have a safe and warm coop for bedtime and bad weather. They are raised on organic feed, are hormone & antibiotic free, plus the birds themselves have not had any genetic tampering like the chickens you find in the grocery stores or other "meat" farms that raise broiler or cross chickens that have been bred to quickly gain weight in just a 6-12 weeks. All our girls are 1-2 years of age at time of processing. All our birds are processed on our farm by a USDA slaughter company, so no scary trips to a cold slaughter house. A happy natural life makes for a yummy chicken. *Our farm is to small to go through being certified organic*
