Deer Run Acres LLC
Edinboro, Pennsylvania
Deer Run Acres is a family-run regenerative farm in the hills outside Edinboro. We raise our animals in a single moving rotation across the pasture, each one preparing the ground for the next. The cattle graze and move on; the pigs follow to turn and open the soil; the hens come behind to scratch through, spread the manure, and clear the pests. It's slow, seasonal work, and we've come to see good stewardship of this land as part of how we're meant to live on it.
Everything we sell comes from that same conviction — that food and the small things we make should be raised and made with care, and that you should be able to know exactly where they came from.
What we raise:
Grass-fed beef — raised on open pasture in our rotational system
Pastured pork — pigs that root, wallow, and live outdoors as pigs should
Pasture-raised, non-GMO eggs — from hens that forage behind the herd
What we make:
Single-origin specialty coffee — roasted to order in small batches, from bright Ethiopian to rich espresso blends, usually in your hands within a week of roasting
Herbal teas — blended in small batches on the farm
Whipped tallow balm — made from our own rendered tallow and botanically infused with herbs and botanicals (no essential oils), in blends from Yarrow & Lavender to Vanilla & Coffee
You'll find us at the self-serve Farm Cabin Store on Old State Road, open for you to stop by and shop on your own time. Beef, pork, eggs, and other perishables are available locally; our coffee, tea, tallow, and handmade goods ship anywhere through deerrunacres.com. We also host hands-on workshops throughout the year.
Come see how it's done — we'd love to have you.
