Heartland Botanical Works is a small family farm in Clarkton, Missouri, in the heart of the Bootheel region. We grow fresh produce, microgreens, sprouted greens, gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, and pasture-raised heritage breed eggs — all produced with care.
Our microgreens are grown in coconut coir and sold as living trays so you can cut them fresh at home. We currently offer broccoli, cilantro, mustard, and our signature salad mix, with more varieties coming soon. Available in 5x5, 10x10, and 10x20 trays.
We also grow a full selection of fresh sprouts including alfalfa, broccoli, clover, radish, mung bean, and lentil. Our mushroom varieties include blue oyster, po hu (white cap oyster), chestnut, lion's mane, wine cap, and turkey tail — a mix of gourmet culinary and medicinal mushrooms, all grown on-site and harvested to order. More varieties coming in 2027.
In season, we offer fresh produce straight from the garden — grown naturally right here in the Bootheel.
Our heritage poultry flock includes Black Copper Marans, Narragansett turkeys, and geese. We offer three types of pasture-raised eggs — rich dark chocolate-brown chicken eggs, large turkey eggs, and extra-large goose eggs. All hand-collected daily and available for farm pickup only.
We offer weekly subscription boxes and wholesale pricing for churches and restaurants. Free delivery on orders over $30 in Clarkton and Gideon. Delivery available to Malden, Kennett, Dexter, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff, and surrounding areas for a delivery fee. No contracts, no commitments — just clean, nutrient-dense food grown for your family.
