Starting in 2000 we have strived to provide the freshest and best certified organic produce to our local consumers including restaurants, caterers, farmers markets and healthfood stores. Local shoppers have been delighted to find our delicious, nutritious and sometimes unusual produce at the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers' Market now going year-round. Since the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers' Market is so fantastic, we have decided not to open a farm stand. We do host occasional farm tours in conjunction with Slow Food Int, USDA and UF/IFAS.
In November 2022, Hurricane Ian devastated our farm. In the past we had always repaired and replanted. This year we were just not able to do that and so have closed our farm. Gibbons Organics has ceased operations. Jim and Brenda are saddened to do this, but have opted for other avenues to serve our wonderful and faithful customers and friends. Look for us in the future as teachers and growers. Brenda will be conducting gardening classes and Jim will continue growing specialty crops. Stay tuned, stay well, stay in touch.
