Peaceful Meadows Farm, owned and operated by Philip & Sheila Brooks and Jeremy & Laura Brooks, is located only 25 miles from the Charlotte city limits in eastern Union County, N.C. and features gently rolling pastures and rural wooded acreage. Our cattle graze in a natural setting on healthy free range pastures, rather than crowded feed lots. No pesticides or commercial fertilizers are ever sprayed on our pastures. We never use hormones, growth enhancers or antibiotics. Since these cows are grown from birth to finish with their mothers, they tend to be contented and satisfied. Peaceful Meadows provides necessary minerals and kelp from organic sources and at no time do they receive grain. As a result grass fed beef is high in CLA, Omega 3 and Vitamins A & E and more of the good cholesterol than the bad. Our beef is processed at a USDA facility where it is dry aged prior to cutting. It is then packaged in vacuum sealed packaging and flash frozen to preserve flavor and freshness and prolong storage life. We are now producing quality pasture and woods raised pork.
