We are a fiber and meat farm. We raise alpacas and angora goats for fiber. We raise rabbit, quail and heritage chicken for meat. We also sell chicken and quail eggs.
We host an on-farm Farmer's Market the first weekend of each month. Local vendors set up in our shady pine grove. We have arts and crafts vendors, local veggie vendors as all as several local authors. During the summer months, we have an Ice Cream Truck at our markets. Our farm animals are friendly and love to interact with our guests.
Our farm store is stocked with meats that we raise and process in our SCDA inspected processing facility. We have the unique priviledge of being licensed by the SCDA to process both rabbit and quail. We have a license to process our heritage chicken right on our farm as well. We know our meat is delicious and healthy because, from birth to butcher, we have total control. Our heritage hens work so hard keeping our incubator and fridge full. Our quail hens are equally busy, but we sell out of quail eggs each week! We also sell heritage chicks that we hatch right on the farm.
The Farm Store also features luxurious alpaca products including socks, hats, gloves and yarn, some of which is dyed right on the farm with natural dyes. We host a variety of workshops and demonstrations such as: "Dyeing Yarn with Natural Dyes", "How to Build a Chick Brooder Box". We offer crochet/knitting/Tunisian crochet classes each spring.
The Farm Store and Farm are open every Saturday from 9am-2pm, and Monday-Thursday from 4pm-6pm. It never hurts to check our website or call before to make sure.
