CSA: Golden Acre Farm

The adult produce shares are for 18 weeks, June through October. An adult share will feed at least two vegetarian adults or a family of 4-5 every week for the 18 weeks. Shares will increase in size and vary in composition based on seasonal availability, smaller in the spring and much larger in summer and fall. Depending on weather patterns the CSA may become available earlier or later in the season and may increase by a week or two.

The flower share will run 8 weeks, August � September. A custom bouquet will be available for pick-up each Saturday morning during the flower season with or without your subscription to our adult produce share. Arrangements usually consist of 25-40 stems and have at least 6, and sometimes upwards of 15, different varieties of flowers. Each week your arrangement will be a custom design from one of our fantastic flower artists. There are VERY limited flower shares available, approximately 10, please sign up early if you are interested.

Shares can be paid in full at the time of sign-up or can be paid in two installments. A non-refundable initial deposit of $300 with the CSA order form will guarantee your spot for a 2015 share. The remaining cost of your share, $240 for the produce only and $330 for the flower plus produce share, is due by May 1st. Payments can be made via check, cash, money order or by credit card. The pick up location this season will be at Everitt Farms, located at 9400 W. Alameda Avenue in Lakewood. CSA pick ups will take place every Saturday morning, June � October, from 9am � 1pm at the Everitt Farms grow site. In addition to the CSA pick up Everitt Farms will be hosting a farmers market each Saturday morning consisting of additional produce, cheese, milk, eggs, honey, and other locally produced goods. CSA members will be able to make this a one-stop shop for their locally sourced food. Members and market patrons will have the opportunity to walk around the property to further connect themselves to the land and soil.
