Golden State Pecans

Through five generations of farmers, our philosophy has always been integrity, quality, family and community. That same philosophy powers our pecans. We work hard and take great pride in producing high-quality pecans for your family and business. From the first look and taste, you will see the difference in our pecans.

2020 was our first year harvesting our pecans. Located in northern Tehama County, we have primarily Pawnee variety pecan trees and we have Lakota variety as our pollinator. Both of these varieties provide beautiful, plump light colored nuts with a rich nutty flavor that is ideal for snacking and recipes.

Someone asked if we were hiring a crew to harvest this year. Our answer- I gave birth to our crew. With hardworking boys ages 15, 16 and 18, this truly is a family affair. From the initial planting to the harvesting, three generations of Lawrence’s work together as a family to sustainably and responsibly farm just as previous generations of Lawrence’s before them.
