CSA: Grassroots Farm & Dairy

When you buy a herdshare, you are buying a share in our dairy sheep. When you sign on as members we enter into a contract with you whereby you pay us to feed and care for your dairy ewe and we provide you with dairy products, in this case raw sheep milk and / or sheep milk yogurt. Such contracts are legal and valid in North Carolina. Herdshare programs protect us from liability since the sheep are owned by you, the consumers. . . you?re just drinking the milk and eating the yogurt from your own sheep!

We are offer herdshares that can start at any point throughout our season. You can join whenever you like!
Please note that as we near the end of our milking season, we will limit the length of our raw milk herdshares
