Penddu Dorsets & More

Penddu Dorsets & More is a fledgling operation - learning and growing! The farm is located near Cameron Missouri which is approximately 50 miles north of Kansas City on I-35. The flock currently consists of 120+ production Dorsets and a few Horned Dorsets. Since the Dorsets are virtually all season breeders, there are lambs on the ground here nearly year round. The lambs are for sale – for meat or breeding purposes. They are pasture/hay fed with minimal amounts of grain (corn) fed. They are not given any antibiotics unless it is for a specific therapeutic purpose (rare) nor are they given any hormones. Please contact me for additional information. If buying for meat, I would prefer to sell whole lambs – I can arrange custom processing or you can. I will also consider selling specific cuts as well. Pick-up, delivery or mail-order are all available. Raw Dorset fleece is also available. The flock will be sheared in May or June. If you are interested, please contact me for additional information. This is a new venture – I am considering collecting individual fleeces as they are sheared. We’ll see how that works! My primary farm hand is an imported tri-color Border Collie, Moel Hemp, ISDS 233528. He’s an exceptional fellow and I could not manage the sheep without him! He is a proven breeder with several complete litters in Wales all being trial winners! He is available for stud for approved bitches. He has been DNA tested for CEA/CH and CL and is certified as normal by Optigen. Please contact me for his pedigree or additional information. Future plans include having a few Border Collie pups available at various times for trialing or working homes only. The dam is a young imported bitch, Bwlch Kate, ISDS 273499, of H.
