CSA: Green Valley Farm

In May through October members pick up their shares at our stall at Kirksville Farmers' Market (Saturdays,7-11:30 a.m.). In April and November (weather and crop availability depending) we set up our own stall on the Courthouse parking lot . Offerings include vegetables, small fruits,and herbs in season that week. Selections from our farm include Mideastern and Oriental veggies, garlic, tomatoes, eggplants, hot and sweet peppers, tomatillos, ground cherries, various beans, edamame, basil, cilantro, parsley, dill, sage, rosemary, other herbs, onions (bulb and bunching), beets,carrots, leeks, cucumbers, summer and winter squash, pumpkins, melons, okra, strawberries, blackberries, asparagus, radishes and daikons, and much more. Customers select their own veggies at will, subject to restrictions on short supply/high demand items--and an honor system to take no more than will use for table consumption in that week alone.
