Green's MM Beefalo Farm

Naturally Raised Beefalo Meat, No Steroids, No Hormones, No Antibiotics Fed. Green's MM Beefalo Farm got it's first beefalo in 2001. We purchased 4 heifers and a bull. We have been expanding each year. We plan to have 15 calves in the spring of 2011. We have sold some breeding stock thru the years but our main product is selling healthy beefalo meat. We raise our Beefalo on grass. Beefalo is a cross between domestic cows and the American bison. A full blood Beefalo contain 3/8 (37.5%) Bison. The minimum percentage of bison to be Beefalo is 17%. Beefalo is a low cholesterol, low fat, low calories, high protein. Beefalo cooks in 1/2 to 2/3 the time of regular beef.
