Mangalitsa is a heritage breed from Hungary. It offers a different fat profile than other breeds that is 10% higher in monounsaturated fat yielding a silky pure white lard that has many uses. The deep red muscle is marbled. We feed non-gmo pellets, test our water annually and implement pasture rotation and an organic herb parasite protocol. Excellent for curing and aging.
