Shady Grove Farm

Shady Grove Farm is a small farming enterprise dedicated to sustainable farming practices and to providing great tasting, lovingly raised food to our customers. The farm is run by owners Kate Ambach and Drew Wood. In 2010 we moved to an unused portion of the Family Farm and began clearing land for a pasture-based farming operation. Although we live in a farming community, not much emphasis is placed on sustainable farming practices. We envisioned a different kind of farm. We share our customer's distrust of the industrial food system. Like you, we want to know where our food comes from and to be assured that the animals we consume are lovingly raised, enjoy a healthy lifestyle where they are free to forage for their food, and are part of a healthy ecosystem as nature intended. No growth hormones, antibiotics or chemical fertilizers are used anywhere on our farm. We specialize in pastured poultry and eggs, including Freedom Ranger Broiler Chickens, Araucana and Black Australorp laying hens, Heritage Breed Thanksgiving Turkeys, and Muscovy Ducks. We offer these delicious products to customers at the Bentonville and Eureka Springs Farmers' Markets. We sell product only at the farmers' markets, and on-farm. We cannot ship product.
