Imagine a warm, breezy Sunday morning in Haleiwa, on nearly 4 acres of Kamehameha Schools property in the heart of the beautiful North Shore. Forty colorful tents line the promenade. Droves of North Shore residents of all ages and backgrounds meander from vendor to vendor, choosing the freshest produce and tastiest food products that Hawaii has to offer. Local music serenades families as they brunch in the shade of the open café. Kids savor natural shave ice and race from vendor to vendor trying to complete the tropical fruit and vegetable scavenger hunt. Elderly local residents visit with vendors whom they have come to warmly know by name. Every item for sale at the market has been Hawaii-grown or made by the vendors themselves.
Monthly festivals celebrate seasonal crops, Hawaiian traditions, and holidays. Every week, locals and tourists alike gather to share their love for the Aina, while meeting local growers, hanging out in the Talk Story Café, and watching the kids make arts & crafts and embrace local traditions in Keiki Korner. We are pleased to be located in the heart of Historic Haleiwa- the perfect location for Eco- and Agri-tourism.
Haleiwa Farmers Market has goals of being Oahus first completely green market solar-powered, plastic-free with a Reduce Reuse Recycle campaign, and with many educational demos. Food vendors use only bio-compostable plates and utensils, which are composted after use. We invite our guests to participate in this campaign by bringing their shopping bags from home, or purchasing one at the market. Eating locally greatly reduces the carbon footprint of our food, producing positive affects throughout the global community.
The market provides a venue for a number of charitable organizations- to raise funds, provide invaluable services, and share a vital message with the community. Each monthly festival will benefit a different non-profit organization.

Fresh, local produce and flowers, plus vendors selling unique locally made gifts. Conveniently located on the way to the North Shore beaches.
Great mix of fresh local produce along with delicious prepared foods, too. I don't really need to buy any produce at the grocery store any more. I can spend half a day there grabbing breakfast/lunch, talking with neighbors, and meeting to friends.... [more]
Lots of local farmers--they need an outlet for their produce so they can make money and keep growing local food for us to eat local!
