Hand Hewn Farm

At Hand Hewn Farm we are working toward a permanent agricultural system. We currently raise pasture chicken, eggs, pork, rabbits, and turkey. We believe that the health and well being of our animals is directly related to the food they produce. Part of our work at the farm is to create an ecologically diverse environment for our animals to thrive. Food producing tree crops are a priority currently so we can feed our animals and ourselves using perennial plants that don't require continuous inputs of fossil fuels to maintain. We love learning and educating at our farm as well. We have classes in pork and rabbit butchery, cookery, and curing. We are constantly trying to gain more knowledge from other skilled farmers, ecologists, chefs, and many others as we continue on our agricultural journey.
