Full season - A CSA share will entitle you to 20 weeks of vegetables worth $500, made in 2 payments totaling $500 for the season.
Each week you will receive a generous share of produce which reflects what can be grown in the given season. In spring you share will consist of fast growing roots- like radish, turnips, beets, and carrots as well as tender greens like chard, kale, and mustards, as well as exciting baby leaf salad mixes, and head lettuces. Weekly summer shares will consist of sunripe tomatoes, summer squash and zuchinni, melons, herbs, beans, and more. Fall vegetables will include many storage crops like potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, as well as the most flavorful greens and heading vegetables like broccoli that you have ever eaten. Quantities of produce have been designed, using sucessful CSA farm plans as a guide. We believe that these numbers should reflect generous quantities of vegetables, while not completely overwhelming you with an abundance that you just can't handle. In addition, the shares are partially a reflection of the value of the food grown and sold at your local farmers market, but at the same time giving you a good deal on your investment.
$500 for 20 weeks of produce beginning in Early June and ending in early November, $200 deposit is due at signup, and the remainder ($300) is due before the beginning of the season, on May 12th. Please note that if you are under financial hardship, but want to participate in the CSA, please contact us
