Harvey's Red Sheep Farm

On our farm we raise sheep and chickens. We practice natural/organic methods and do not use hormones or antibotics (unless necessary for the health of the animal). Our sheep, California Reds and some crosses, are reared mainly for their wool. I sell raw fleeces and some processed roving. I have a few lambs each year available on the hoof for meat. The chickens are for eggs. We sell fresh eggs at $3.00 a dozen. Our chickens are housed in a chicken coop and yard. They eat Purina Sunfresh blend feed all year. In the winter they are fed lots of veggie clippings and hay and provided heated water. In the summer they are fed weeds from the garden and grass clippings.
