Fishtowne, of Beaufort, North Carolina is a locally owned seafood business. Since it's inception in 2004, Fishtowne has focused on buying local seafood harvested by local fishermen. The Carteret County fishing industry has a long history of producing quality seafood by hardworking, dedicated fishermen. Our unique coastline provide us with an array of seafood choices including flounder, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, grouper, snapper, oysters, clams, scallops, shrimp, crabs, and sea mullet. Bill Rice, owner and operator, travels from one end of the county to the other, several times per week to stock our market with the highest quality, freshest products available. Fishtowne operates a retail seafood market as well as a wholesale processing facility and refrigerated seafood delivery. Our customer base is comprised of local residents, tourists and area restaurants that specialize in local seafood. Fishtowne is NCDA, FDA, NCDENR shellfish inspected and is HACCP certified. Fishtowne is a member of Carteret Catch, a nonprofit organization committed to local sustainable seafood. Fishtowne is involved with the Community Supported Fisheries program WalkingFish.
