I am excited to be able to offer "fresh garden vegetable shares" again this year - weekly or biweekly. Each week you will receive a variety of fresh vegetables from the garden for a set cost. In June, there may be a bit less as the main season varieties mature, but summer and fall will make up for it in abundance. You will receive what is available in season. I grow "open-air" vegetables that are chemical free/pesticide free and are grown by organic standards. You will receive heirloom varieties of vegetables such as Asian, Italian, and American. The types of vegetables you can expect to find in your vegetable share include kales, chards, peas, beets, lettuces, sprouts, Asian greens, garlic and garlic scapes, radishes, carrots, wild berries, broccoli, cabbages, several fun varieties of beans, yellow/red/purple/orange/black tomatoes, patty pan squashes, eggplants and zuchinis, onions, variety of cucumbers, peppers (sweet and spicy), grape/salad tomatoes, squashes, melons, potatoes, pumpkins and gourds...... to name a few! I am always adding new things each year so there are always some surprises for my market customers.

Canning packages will be offered to those who feel they want to put up items for winter storage. Whether it be for canning, freezing, drying or fermenting, I am offering bulk tomatoes, beans, and cabbage (for kraut). This is for an additional cost.

I will allow limited customizing. We want everyone to enjoy what family farming has to offer, however, if there is a certain vegetable you absolutely do not like, you may let us know and we will substitute an "extra" of something else. We do encourage you to at least try the vegetable in a new/different recipe. Perhaps you will enjoy the taste of a mineral-rich vegetable, picked fresh that day for you!

A traditional vegetable share includes 5-15 different vegetables each week. 1/2 shares, senior shares, and family shares are also available. A minimum of 10 weeks must be purchased for each share. Payment is due by May 1st.
