Healthy Hen Farms

Healthy Hen Farms produces all-natural, pastured chickens, turkeys, eggs, and other farm products which are directly sold to our local customers and restaurants. All animals on the farm are fed a 100% certified organic, non-GMO, and soy-free diet in addition to fresh pasture on a daily basis. Located just outside of Oxford, NC, the farm serves the greater Triangle market. John and Betsie McAuley, the owners of the farm, were some of the first apprentices under Joel Salatin at Polyface Farm in Virginia back in the mid 1990s. They bring a wealth of experience and expertise in all-natural pasture based livestock production and they enjoy sharing this with everyone they meet. Together with their 6 kids, they produce some of the finest food in the area and strive to make this food as affordable as possible. You can purchase their products directly from the farm or through a number of farm and retail partners in the Triangle area.
