Heavenly Homestead

At Heavenly Homestead, our motto is root-to-table. We grow Microgreens: brocolli, arugula, red russian kale, pea shoots, and sunflower, and Salanova lettuce. We also raise pasture, cage-free chickens. One of our special breed chicken is the Spangled Russian Orloff.

At Heavenly Homestead, we are strong believers in regenerative farming. Regenerative farming places an emphasis on soil health and ecological sustainability. This approach creates a local environment where one section of the system supports another. For example, building healthy soil supports healthy crops and livestock. In turn, the livestock by-product supports the fertilization of the soil and crops. Additionally, regenerative farming's focus on soil health entails prioritizing natural methods of pest and weed control. As a result, there is no use of synthetic chemicals in the growing process. Overall, regenerative farming is a great method of providing truly organic food in a fashion that supports local communities and minimizes environmental harm.
