Red Rock Ranch & Farms - Lavender

Red Rock Ranch and Farms, LLC's lavender is grown in the pristine climate of the White Mountains of Arizona at an elevation of 6,000 feet. Lavender grown at high altitudes exhibits the highest ester content. The environment and ecosystem is optimal for producing intensely fragrant lavender with a scent that endures. Our lavender plants are nurtured in ideal growing conditions: perfect soil, clean air, & the purest of water. With acres of lavender fields, the farm is one of the largest growers of lavender in the Southwest. We grow 13 varieties of lavender including the French lavenders (Provence and Grosso) and the English Lavenders (Royal Velvet, Royal Purple, Buena Vista, Vera, Dilly-Dilly, Blue Cushion, Jean Davis, Sarah, Munstead and pink Melissa). Our lavender is grown and harvested by hand. Each summer, we harvest the lavender and dry it in our specialty designed drying racks. During the months of June and July, when the lavender is in bloom, we host a lavender festival at the farm. 100% pure high altitude lavender essential oil and lavender hydrosol is produced from our distillation system. High altitude lavender essential oil has a well balanced fragrance that is superior to many others and is often the choice of aromatherapists. A myriad of natural lavender products is created from our hand-harvested lavender and 100% pure lavender essential oil.
