CSA: Hedlin Farms

Each week you pick up, at a designated location, a box of the freshest and best our farm has to offer. Most weeks there will 8-10 different items in your share. We try to include a fruit item in each week's share as well as a newsletter and a recipe or two. A full share is about right for most families of four. A half share is intended to provide a weeks' worth of produce for 2 people.

We will have one makeup week at the end of the season. If you are going to miss a pickup please let us know 24 hours in advance and we will put you on the makeup list. You may also opt to have a friend pickup your box any time - no notice necessary - just have your friend ask for your share.

Certified Organic - All of our field grown fruits and vegetables are WSDA and USDA certified organic.

Pesticide Free - Our greenhouse vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, basil, eggplant, and cucumbers) are pesticide free. These crops are not certified organic because we do use some conventional fertilizer for our greenhouse vegetable production.

Produce from other farms - Some things we do not grow but are too good to pass up - ripe peaches, for example. We may occasionally include an item from other farms. These items will always be from farmers with whom we have personal relationships and whose practices and philosophy match our own. You will always be informed of the organic status of all items in your weekly pickup.
