Oaks of Mamre Farm

We offer pastured organically fed turkeys, chickens and chicken eggs from our small farm outside of Hempstead, Texas (30-40 min. from FM 1960 & Hwy 290 in Houston; 30 min. from Magnolia; 40 min. from Tomball). We also deliver to a Tomball area drop site every other week. Turkeys are available just before Thanksgiving and fresh in a variety of sizes. We also have a small number of goats and cattle. All our poultry are free ranged on pasture and are fed only certified organic grains (NO GMOs, NO antibiotics, NO hormones,NO appetite stimulants, NO other medications. In addition they feed on pasture grass and bugs from pastures NEVER treated with herbicides, pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers. All meat birds are carefully processed on the farm in a state health department approved facility. Our poultry meat and eggs are unlike most any you can find in stores - even most that claim to be organic and/or free range. These birds truly get plenty of exercise, sun, fresh air and natural feed and their meat and eggs prove it! Chicken eggs are available year round. Meat chickens will generally be available in the early summer and late fall. We use no commercial fertilizers or chemicals on the farm. Goats feed almost exclusively off the land - eating grass, vines and leaves for 90+% of their diet.
