Hibernian Farm is a family run farm, working toward self-sustainability. We relocated from an urban farm in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2018. We have completely rehabilitated our 130+ year old farm house and are working diligently toward renewing the land and out buildings. We raise Nubian, Saanen and Alpine/Nigerian goats, along with a variety of chickens and ducks. We have been raising and breeding Newfoundland dogs for Service, Therapy and family companions, since 2013. We have Great Pyrenees dogs as Livestock Guardian Dogs (LGD) and occasionally have a litter available for placement. We have over 30 acres of apple and cherry orchard and will be increasing fruit and vegetable production as our land is ready. We are a no-spray, no-chemical farm, utilizing natural means to create compatible, biodynamic ecosystems. Our animals are all fed bio-identical diets, pasture raised and treated without use of chemicals.
